HOCOL was selected as one of three finalists by the UK Institute of Energy for their award in the “Communication and People” category, Best Contribution to Awareness of Industry Issues and its People” for our community-related work while conducting the US$ 20-million ‘Sparse 3D Seismic Survey’ in the war-ravaged “Llanos” Foothills.

The Social Enterprise Knowledge Network (SEKN), made up of the Harvard Business School and a group of leading Latin American Business Administration Schools, selected HOCOL as a case model to illustrate the best practices in social responsibility.

HOCOL was also recognized by the Pacific University / Ford Foundation by being chosen for a case study of good practices in the oil industries "Social Justice Philanthropy in the Andes", and recently received the iberoamerican Award in Excellence of Education because Self Care Culture.

HOCOL was invited to talk about his social Strategy in the Sumaq Summit Alliance - Atlanta to the International Bissines Strategies in Latin America. for his experience "Disclosure of HOCOL's Public Stance as a public commintment with its partners in growth, wealth and corporate governance"

International Committee of the Red Cross - Geneva: HOCOL was invited as an example of the oil industry in the “Conflict and Human Rights in Colombia” discussion.

Inter- American Development Bank: Presentation of HOCOL´s experience in Corporate Social Responsibility at the III Ibero-american Social Responsibility Conference in Chile. Recognition from Inter American Foundation (USA Congress) and Ethos (most important organization in CSR in Latin America).

Harvard Business School - SEKN: The discussion in Harvard with different companies, NGOs and Academy, evidenced HOCOL´s mature concept of Social Responsibility and stated HOCOL foundation as an initiative to create wealth in communities and to strength government entities.

Corporate Social Responsibility: HOCOL was invited to the ANDI Congress: “Corporate Social Responsibility as value added for business and society”.
Colombian Corporate Social Responsibility Center: HOCOL was invited to take part of the Board of Directors. A new alliance that put the company in the Latin-America scenario.
